Thaipusam '13

Time flies so fast , I still remember last year's Thaipusam I went to temple with him everything just like happened yesterday =( . Erm back to happy post no emo emo all . This year Thaipusam falls on 27 January (Sunday) ape lagi Monday holiday lar so planned to enjoy kaw kaw ,but everything went upside down, first time ever it was heavy rain on Thaipusam day. Erm but I still went for see "kavadi" with my family =D

Thaipusam is celebrate by hindu on month of "Thai" based on hindu calender. Thaipusam is a three day celebration. First day - Thaipusam Eve , is milk bath ceremony for Lord Murugan . I celebrate Thaipusam at Ipoh Murugan Temple. I do bring milk in "Paal Koddum" (the container to fill up the milk) for Lord Murugan .

This year Thaipusam a new member join us for the celebration ,her name is Mui Ting she is my youngest sisters course mate she is Sarawakian Chinese . This is her very first time to come to Ipoh , her first time to stay with a Indian family , her first time to wear Punjabi dress , her first time to went to a Hindu Temple and everything was first time for her in past few days .

The second day - the Thaipusam Day is the day for "Kavadi". Normally we only went to temple on night because of the hot weather in the noon . But UNFORTUNATELY it was heavy rain on night so we stopped at McDonald's for have our dinner before went to town to see "Kavadi" .Took some picture there for fun .

This year failed to capture the photo of "kavadi" because of I don't have a camera so I gonna share some photo take took by my sister's phone.

The third day of Thaipusam is the day for Chariot. My sisters all went back to their study place on Monday noon . Only me and my parents went for see the "Ratham" - Chariot on night. We went there after the rain stopped fully . This year Thaipusan just end like that but I had such a wonderful time with my family =D . Can't wait for next year Thaipusam celebration and God please don't rain on that day .

After Twelve Years 。十二年后

I t's already been a long while, 12 years after I've graduated from my primary school. All those memories were still so fresh on my mind. The morning assemblies, teachers days, school sports days, and children days. Six years of primary school life was heaven. Nothing can replace those memories in me.
